The Basics

Nekoweb †	Website hosting service Free users get a nekoweb.org address and 500MB storage, and for 3$ a month you can use a custom domain and up to 10GB. The userbase is smaller than Neocities but it feels a lot cozier to me! It's also very loudly queer!!
Neocities	The Other website hosting service Free users get a neocities.org address and 1GB storage, and for 5$ a month you can use a custom domain and up to 50GB. Free users are also limited in what file types they can upload (among other things; no sound files.) This is the most popular host in the indie web space, to my knowledge. I first left because the founder is pro-AI, but I really do think Nekoweb is better on a practical level too.
Cloudflare Registrar †	Domain registration service This is the only one I've used so it's all I can recommend! I like that the pricing is more straightforward than other sites. Prices vary based on your TLD (ex.: mine is .net), but I think mine was cheapest on Cloudflare in the long run, even though my first year wasn't discounted or anything. Shop around.

W3Schools †	Coding learning site Includes exercises and reference pages for every tag.
MDN Web docs	Coding learning site Similar to W3Schools. Includes exercises and reference pages for every tag.
Solaria's Webspace	Tutorials and references I used the jukebox tutorial to make the MP3 player on the homepage!

Graphics Collections

GifCities †	GeoCities-era Gifs Has an advanced search function, including search by size. Also a great way to find interesting GeoCities sites on the Wayback Machine. Just click any gif!
Glitter-Graphics †	Gifs & still images - MySpace-era and later Well-organized and easy to browse. Even has an Emo subcategory for most types of graphics. Watch out for AI-generated images. They're mostly contained in their own category but they will sneak into searches and other categories.
Coco's Pixel Safari †	Various graphics Includes a favicon collection -- I don't see a lot of those.
The 88x31 GIF Collection †	Button collection A LOT of buttons. Sorted alphabetically.
The Horror GIF Necronomicon	Spooky/supernatural gif collection Sorted by subject.
3M0C0WB0Y	Emo graphics Well-organized and easy to browse. Even has an Emo subcategory for most types of graphics. Watch out for AI-generated images. They're mostly contained in their own category but they will sneak into searches and other categories.
